No picture can capture what was in the sky two nights ago. There were icicles hanging from the sky all around us. We tried to capture it on our camera but were unsuccessful. This picture captures it somewhat. The icicles were in our vision and were everywhere hanging from the sky but they could not be touched. Nature is amazing.

I kept hearing about this event but missed it myself. terrific photos! love the dogs in the snow. It was quite a morning with this early snow - wonder if it is a foreshadowing of the winter to come?
