Fire Tower 1 St Regis-the quest for the patch begins!

Foster and I climbed St Regis as part of our quest for the Saranac 6 summer patch.  Patches Rule!!!! St Regis is near Paul Smith's college.  It was a beautiful day, cool for the summer, 53 degrees,  Black flies were swarming.  What is this, it's past fathers day don't these darn insects know that they are suppose to not be here?  I was the first hiker to sign in at 8:30.  Foster brought his ball so he was happy.  We made it to the top around 10:15, took a picture with the medallion and started to head back down but wait, Foster misplaced his ball.  Had to find the ball.  Found the ball and headed back down.  Back in the car at 11:50 with a very happy and very dirty puppy!
